New Zealand Potters Inc celebrates 50 years as an incorporated society this year. The Wellington and Western region hold an annual exhibition, showcasing work by potters in the region. Selector Paul Melser has included Lisa’s work in the exhibition.
‘Tararuas, series 3’ is a literal representation of the asymmetric alpine spine and subtle shadows of the Tararua range running the length of our valley.
Hand-built from recycled clay, grogged with crushed mountain rock washed down the Waiohine river and fired with glazes mixed in my Wairarapa studio.
